SORMAS Academy

To make it easier for you to use SORMAS, we offer a multi-stage training concept. The training formats differ in terms of time and medium and are aimed at different target groups. In the following we will give you a short overview. In addition to the SORMAS training courses, it is also possible to view video recordings of various training courses or to obtain specific information on individual topics via function videos.
The trainings, which you can arrange individually, always refer to the latest version of SORMAS.

Target group:
Our user training is a low-threshold offer to get to know the functionalities of SORMAS. It is aimed at all persons who support the health authorities in case and contact person management and who will work with SORMAS for this purpose.

Content:
The training, which lasts approximately 2 1/2 hours, is structured in two parts: In the first part, the central functionalities of case and contact person management in SORMAS are presented via screen transmission. At any time during the training, you will have the opportunity to ask questions in writing via chat or verbally after the training. The second part of the training will discuss the questions received.

Format:
The training will take place as a video conference training. No special hardware is required for participation. Upon successful registration, you will receive an email with a link to join. If you do not have an audio output or audio device on your computer, you can also dial in via your phone in parallel.

Target group:
Our administrator:in training is aimed at all employees:in the health offices who will take over the administration of SORMAS in their own office in the future.

Content:
This training will give you an insight into the relevant admin functionalities in SORMAS. Concrete contents are:

  • The creation and administration of users
  • Making settings
  • Creating the document template
  • The import and export function
  • The mass editing mode

Format:
The training sessions take place as a teleconference training. The participants take an active role in navigating through SORMAS with the help of the trainer. During the training, participants have the opportunity to ask questions to the trainer at any time, which can then be directly addressed.

No special hardware is required for participation. After successful registration, you will receive the dial-in data for the telephone conference room by e-mail. The training takes place for the participants on their own SORMAS instance, so that access to the office's own SORMAS instance is required.
